The Minister of Education is totally exposed

Mr. Anastasiades has left the Education Minister totally exposed as regards the order he issued for a page to be torn out from the textbook of the second grade English course. The fact that the President of the Republic had to point out to his Minister that this is the 21st century says a lot about the government as a whole.

The Education Minister Mr. Prodromou has repeatedly been a matter of concern to society for his extremely conservative and reactionary attitudes and practices. The point, of course, is we shouldn’t be each time what new things Mr. Prodromou has committed, but that at long last elementary responsibility should be assumed.
