The Health and Finance Ministries are at the forefront of the fierce campaign against the NHS

The opponents of the single-insurance National Health Scheme (NHS) based on the principle of solidarity, having been prevented by society from undermining it from within, are continuing their long-standing orchestrated campaign, targeting the President and members of the Board of the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) with a vengeance, that is to say those very forces and circles who were instrumental in its implementation. In the war launched against the NHS the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance, with the full support of President Anastasiades have for some time been at the forefront of this vicious campaign.

They will find AKEL opposing them again, as well as the overwhelming majority of society.
