Remember when you were declaring that you would bring “Spring” to the Arab countries? Now that Winter has set in, you’re shedding hypocritical tears on ruins.
Eight years ago, the foreign intervention to overthrow the Syrian government started and the country began to be torn apart.
The US, NATO, Turkey, the member states of the European Union and the Gulf Monarchies armed – via the Syrian opposition – the hordes of jihadists and the “Islamic State” organisation.
Right now, with the tolerance shown by the US and Russia, together with the EU’s verbal denunciations, the brute Erdogan has been let loose to drink the blood and once again massacre a much-suffering people, the Kurds.
This is being done without any hesitations and moral inhibitions.
So long as the region is carved up and shared, weapons are sold, oil is extracted and the profits of the monopolies are rising.
Other than that, they wanted to safeguard “our European identity”.
It is grotesque…
They are tragic. There’s nothing more to say.
