The General Secretary of AKEL A.Kyprianou in Athens for meetings with KKE and SYRIZA

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL will depart for Athens tomorrow for a bilateral meeting with the Communist Party of Greece to discuss issues of common interest. The meeting with the General Secretary of the Central Committee of KKE Demetris Koutsoumbas will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October at 11:00 a.m. at the KKE central offices in Perisos.
At the same time, the General Secretary of AKEL, in response to an invitation extended by Alexis Tsipras, will meet with the President of SYRIZA and former Prime Minister of Greece for an exchange of views surrounding the Cyprus problem and the situation in the Cyprus Exclusive Economic Zone. The meeting will take place on Thursday, 24th October at 12:30 p.m. at the SYRIZA central offices.
The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL will be accompanied by Christos Alekou, AKEL Central Organizing Secretary and Marina Savva, Head of the GS’s Office.
