AKEL: The Ecologists are a natural ally – the dialogue on the presidential elections continues

Today we welcomed with joy a delegation of the Ecologists’ Movement headed by the Movement’s president, our friend Charalambos Theopemptou, to discuss the issue of the presidential elections.

We consider the Ecologists to be a natural ally in the effort that the opposition is making to join forces so that it can succeed in putting an end to the government of the ruling DISY party, which has caused enormous deadlocks in the country, and to achieve progressive change.

We have discussed various issues and agreed to continue the dialogue between us so that we can find common ground which we believe exists in order to move forward together in an effort to fulfill our electoral objectives as I have outlined them.
