We have and are going through a very difficult time with the pandemic. We will withstand and endure, however, as we have endured so much in this country, with determination and solidarity.
We are fighting to defend the public health system from collapsing so that we can protect the majority of society that is paying a heavy price for the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
As AKEL we are devoting all our forces at a political and social level to confront the situation, to support working people, small and medium-sized businesses and the self-employed.
Together we must all now protect ourselves and those around us. We stay united and strong to pull through.
The voluntary mechanism of AKEL is at the disposal of the social services to serve the vulnerable and helpless groups of our population.
