The overtime scandal does not end here – The President and the Government Spokesperson must stop hiding

The resignation of the Deputy Government Spokesperson should have been self-evident days ago. But it cannot be a smokescreen for the greater responsibilities that exist in the Presidency.

Does the Government Spokesperson who personally signed overtime for attendance at cocktails, funerals and charity events have or does not have responsibility?

Did President Christodoulides know or not know about the unthinkable practices that were being carried out by their closest associates?

Were these practices also applied to other elected officials of the President?

This scandal that is provoking society and humiliating the institutions does not end with the resignation of the Deputy Government Spokesperson.

The President and the Government Spokesperson must stop hiding.
