The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou congratulates Mustafa Akinci -the new leader of the Turkish Cypriot community

The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou had a telephone conversation with Mr. Mustafa Akinci to congratulate him for becoming the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community. He expressed the readiness of AKEL to support all efforts towards achieving a solution in line with the agreed framework. Mr. Akinci stated to Andros Kyprianou that he looks forward to the cooperation of all the forces in the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot community that want a solution, aiming at reaching an agreement. The two agreed to maintain an open line of communication.
