The Cypriot people cannot withstand a third DISY government

In today’s confirmation of his candidacy, DISY President Averof Neophytou openly and cynically reiterated that he wants to be the continuation of the Anastasiades government.

That is to say, the government that is handing over a country that has been the most disgraced around the world as never before. A society more unequal than ever before. And a country closer to partition than ever before. However, the Cypriot people cannot bear this disastrous course for the country, they cannot withstand a third term of DISY in government.

The Cypriot people deserve a new beginning that will put an end to the organised scandalous feast of profiteering of the government ruling forces, which Cyprus will be paying for years to come. Our country deserves a new beginning that will respond to the major problems the Cypriot people are facing, to the inequalities, to the high cost of living and price increases that is devastating households.

The Cypriot people deserve a new beginning. A real progressive change.
