Statement by Christina Nicolaou, Head of the Environment Policy Sector of AKEL on the probe on Akamas

The President of the Republic must, even belatedly, give instructions for the administrative investigation carried out on Akamas to be handed over to Parliament and the Audit Service.
The longer the Christodoulides government delays to do so, the more our concern that the government ruling forces are trying to hide the truth intensifies.
AKEL calls on Mr. Christodoulides and the responsible Minister to put their public declarations on transparency and accountability into practice.
