AKEL replies to Archbishop’s statements against AKEL

That the Archbishop has a particular “liking” to AKEL is well-known. In his statements yesterday the Archbishop made sure to recall yet again his feelings towards us.
We only have one thing to say. What he says about AKEL, doesn’t affect us. Society knows how much value these statements have and how much the statements of the prelate of the Church should be taken into account.
It’s not AKEL that has a problem. It’s the Church that has a problem, which the Archbishop often insults with his statements.
