AKEL replies to DIKO with arguments and facts

The current leadership of the Democratic Party DIKO does its best to keep up its fierce attacks on AKEL. A similar stand was unfortunately taken by DIKO leader Mr. Nicholas Papadopoulos all the previous years. In the leveling attacks by the DIKO leadership against AKEL, we will reply with arguments and facts.

Firstly, AKEL maintains with long-standing consistency positions and a stand of responsible and militant assertion on the Cyprus problem. One wonders, can the leadership of the Democratic Party itself claim the same with regards it’s long-standing and steadfastness in favor of a bi-zonal, bi-communal solution?

Secondly, AKEL and its people have elected two times leaders of the Democratic Party to the Presidency of the Republic, while regretfully it is the leadership of the Democratic Party that has respectively two times voted the DISY Rally party into power.
