AKEL General Secretary departs for New York – important contacts on the Cyprus problem

A delegation of AKEL headed by the General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou departs for New York on Sunday 2nd December, where it will have contacts with the Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations for Political Affairs, Rosemary Di Carlo, Representatives of the Permanent Members of the United Nations Security Council, Archbishop Demetrios and figures of the Cypriot community in America.

The General Secretary of AKEL will be accompanied in his contacts by Yiorgos Loukaides, member of the Political Bureau and AKEL Parliamentary Representative, Toumazos Tsilelepis, member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Cypriot Problem Office of the C.C. of AKEL and Marina Savva, director of the AKEL General Secretary’s office.
