AKEL CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

On the occasion of Christmas, AKEL conveys its warm wishes to the whole Cypriot people, wishing all the very best for prosperity, health and happiness.

We send our warm wishes to every family in Cyprus. Our thoughts are with the poor and the thousands of unemployed people in particular, namely those suffering from job insecurity and the negative consequences on their rights and earnings; to the young people who are worried about their future and prospects, and in general to all those people who are going through difficult times.

AKEL also sends a message of solidarity and support to all our compatriots, as well as to the immigrants living and working in our country and who are far away from their families.

Finally, we wish that justice, peace and prosperity will prevail all over the world. The future generations deserve something better than a future that is constantly being sacrificed for the sake of profit and the waging unjust wars. The struggle and efforts for a future of peace, cooperation between the peoples and for prosperity give a meaning to life.
