AKEL briefing and contacts in Brussels on the latest developments on the Cyprus problem

Toumazos Tsilelepis, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C. of AKEL and Head of the Cyprus Problem Office of the C.C. of AKEL, paid a visit to Brussels from 30/05/2017- 01/06/2017.

During his visit, Toumazos Tsilelepis spoke at a seminar organized for members and friends of AKEL in Brussels on the subject of Federation and its application in the given conditions of Cyprus.

Furthermore, he also addressed a meeting of the Confederal Group of the European United Left – Nordic Green Left of the European Parliament, briefing its members on the latest developments surrounding the Cyprus problem. Finally, he was the main speaker at a meeting organized by the AKEL Party organization in Brussels, which took place yesterday Wednesday 31st May 2017 to inform Cypriots living and working in Brussels on the theme “Cyprus – Today’s Situation and Prospects”.

Within the framework of his visit, he met with Katti Peri MEP and Rapporteur for the Progress report on Turkey with whom he discussed both developments on the Cyprus problem and the Progress report itself.
