AKEL meetings with tourism bodies

Under the impact of the sanctions imposed and the serious consequences for tourism, AKEL will hold meetings with tourism agencies/bodies.

Through discussions with those involved in the tourism industry, workers, hoteliers, tourism service providers, catering and small and medium-sized enterprises, AKEL seeks to discuss the real problems they face today and especially bearing in mind the new conditions created.

The aim is to formulate immediate and realistic proposals to address the consequences for tourism and, by extension, the local economy.

The meetings will take place as follows:

– Monday 21/3 at 4:00pm at the Creative and Cultural Centre (former Larnaca Club) in the presence of AKEL Parliamentary Representative Giorgos Loukaides.

– Tuesday 22/3 at 5:30pm at Atlantica Miramare Beach in Limassol in the presence of the General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Stefanos Stefanou.

– Wednesday 23/3 at 11:00am at the “Thalassa” Municipal Museum in Agia Napa in the presence of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou.

– Wednesday 23/3 at 5:00pm at the Elysium Hotel in Paphos in the presence of AKEL Parliamentary Representative Giorgos Loukaides.
