AKEL replies to all those questioning the participation of Toumazos Tsielepis in Mont Peleran

It is the President of the Republic himself who is called upon to give a reply with regards the participation of Toumazos Tsielepis (Note: member of the Political Bureau of the C.C. of AKEL and International Law expert) in the negotiating team on the issue of security and guarantees, which is in Mont Peleran. This was a decision taken by the President of the Republic himself.

We merely would like to point out that Toumazos Tsielepis was entrusted by all the Presidents of the Republic of Cyprus from Georgos Vassiliou until today and he was a member of the negotiating teams of former Presidents Glafcos Clerides, Tassos Papadopoulos and Demetris Christofias.

This fact alone gives a reply to all those circles and forces who are questioning the participation of Toumazos Tsielepis.
