Government-DISY presence at service in memory of Grivas a provocation

The presence of the Government and DISY party at the service in memory of Grivas is an insult to the memory of all those who fought and sacrificed their lives for freedom, democracy and the independence of our country.

Throughout his life Grivas spread death and destruction. His criminal activity also provoked discord among our people and created the conditions for Turkey to invade Cyprus.

The presence of the Government and DISY at the memorial service of the devastator and destroyer of Cyprus Grivas undermines our people’s unity, to which the Government and ruling forces hypocritically refer to.
