The National Health Scheme needs radical, total change

 AKEL: The government is solely responsible for the extremely problematic situation in the public health sector

Following the resignation of the executive director of the state health services (OKYPY), two other members of the Board of Directors resigned yesterday. The situation in the administration and management of the Agency reflects a picture of chaos and disintegration. It is also reflected in the deterioration of the public health sector. The DISY party government is solely responsible for this extremely problematic situation.

It is abundantly clear that the National Health Scheme needs radical, total change. It needs a new authority to fulfill its mission and the urgent need to rebuild public hospitals.
