The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Stefanos Stefanou telephone conversation with the Communist Party of Greece General Secretary D. Koutsoumbas

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL Stefanos Stefanou had a telephone conversation this morning with the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece, Demetris Koutsoumbas. Stefanos Stefanou accepted the congratulations of D. Koutsoumbas on his election to the leadership of AKEL and at the same time congratulated the General Secretary of the C.E. of the Communist Party of Greece on his re-election.
In a cordial and comradely atmosphere, Stefanos Stefanou and Demetris Koutsoumbas exchanged views on developments surrounding the Cyprus problem and on wider political developments in the two countries and reaffirmed the will for dialogue and the continuation of the decades-old fraternal ties that link the two parties.
