The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL at the Athens 2022 European Forum

The General Secretary of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, is departing tomorrow for Athens to participate in the European Forum organised by the Party of the European Left on 21-23 October, which will be attended by personalities of the European left from many countries.
The General Secretary of AKEL will be one of the speakers at the Forum’s political conference to be held on Friday evening, the first day of the Forum’s deliberations. The Spanish Minister of Labour and Social Economy, Yolanda Diaz, and the President of Sinn Fein Ireland, Mary Lou MacDonald, will address the Conference via a video message. Also speaking will be Alexis Tsipras, President of SYRIZA, Heinz Bierbaum, President of the Party of the European Left, Martina Anderson, Sinn Fein’s representative in Europe, Aurelieux Trouvet, President of the NUPES electoral alliance in France, and others.
On the sidelines of the Forum, the General Secretary of AKEL will have a meeting with the President of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras.
