The General Secretary of AKEL on the conclusion of AKEL’s contacts in Brussels

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, concluded his contacts in Brussels with a speech at an event organised by the Left Group in the European Parliament on the theme “Turkish Cypriots and the EU – Prospects for the reunification of Cyprus”.

Speakers at the event also included Fikri Toros, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Turkish Cypriot CTP party, Ipec Borman, international law expert and Toumazos Tsielepis, Head of the Cyprus Problem Office of AKEL.

The event was attended by Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, as well as MEP’s from other parties and Cypriots living in Brussels.
