The Anastasiades – DISY government is productive in making announcements and pledges, but very poor in delivering and works

According to the figures released by the General Accounts up to August, the implementation rate of the development budget was only 33%.
Last month we again highlighted the State Budget’s very low implementation rate. The situation remains the same, and the Anastasiades-DISY government is unable to implement even the meagre developmental section of the budget.
Instead of the government and ruling forces concentrating on the effort to increase the rate of implementation of the development budget, they are focusing on pre-election fiestas which they are planning in order to promote Mr. Anastasiades’ candidacy, proclaiming again measures and projects which have never been fulfilled and done.
The state’s official figures confirm that the Anastasiades – DISY government is productive in announcements and pledges, but very poor in delivering and works.
