Statements by the General Secretary of AKEL A.Kyprianou on the Archbishop’s revelation about a two-state solution

Today’s revelation by the Archbishop that the President of the Republic discussed a two state solution with him confirms two things again:
- The President is lying when he claims that he has never discussed a two-state solution.
- For the first time in history, not only did it cross the mind of a President, but he discussed with various people the donation of half of Cyprus to Turkey.
The President’s attempt to reply does not convince anyone. Unless he means all this, the Archbishop and so many others who also mentioned that the President of the Republic spoke to them about a two-states
solution, just imagined it.
