Reply of AKEL GS Andros Kyprianou to a question on today’s Anastasiades-Akinci meeting

Replying to a journalist’s question on today’s Anastasiades-Akinci meeting, the General Secretary of AKEL said:

“It is wiser for us to wait to see the results of the meeting, to see what has transpired in this meeting and then comment on it. Let’s not get ahead of things because it is a fact that both sides, in my opinion, have in recent years been expressing positions, with the provocations by the Turkish side of course much more intense, on various issues. As to what will happen at the meeting, however, let’s comment on it when we have the result.”
