Three possibilities exist for the Government Spokesman to make such statements. Either he has not read the statements of AKEL, or he does not understand what he reads, or he is lying. What is certain is that the President’s contradictory and dead-end policy gives Turkey the room to promote its partitionist policy almost unhindered.

AKEL has always been and remains on the path of liberation and reunification on the agreed basis of a solution.

Which path is Mr. Anastasiades on? The path of Federation? Or on the path of two states or of a return to the unitary state of 1960?
