Our liberation from the Memoranda policies the only way out of the crisis

Confirming AKEL’s criticism, the governing DISY Rally party Press Spokesman defends the policies of the European People’s Party. The strategy of vicious austerity, the Memoranda and the Troika has failed miserably throughout the whole of the European Union.

No wonder more and more governments react to these policies. The peoples with the mass mobilizations of working people not only in southern Europe, but also in France, Belgium, Ireland and even Germany, reject the Memoranda harsh austerity policies.

Even in countries that are presented as entering the markets such as Portugal, Spain and Ireland the policies of austerity, privatizations and the impoverishment of a large section of the population are continuing.

With regards Cyprus, DISY Press Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou seems to be living in another country when referring to a path of growth despite the fact that more and more sections of the population are being driven to impoverishment, unemployment and misery.

The only way out of the crisis is the liberation from the Memoranda austerity policies and the adoption of a social, developmental policy.
