New AKEL attack on Anastasiades-Averof-Christodoulides surrounding the Cyprus problem

If we abandon the solution of Bi-zonal, Bicommunal Federation with mathematical certainty, we will be heading towards the partition of Cyprus, AKEL Political Bureau member and MP Aristos Damianou said, speaking to ‘Astra’ radio.
He added that as a result of his stand and regressions, Nicos Anastasiades, together with Nikos Christodoulides and Averof Neophytou, who gave him cover and are his political accomplices, have led the Greek Cypriot side to lose its credibility among the international community and thus enabled Turkey to promote its position for a two state solution.
A.Damianou pointed out that the social democratic EDEK party, by adopting its specific position against the solution of Bizonal, Bicommunal Federation, is supporting a presidential candidate who does not have a clear position on the Cyprus problem.
The AKEL Political Bureau member criticized Nicos Christodoulides for hiding politically and of not clarifying his position on the Cyprus problem. He recalled that his candidacy is supported by EDEK and ‘Solidarity’ party who are both against the solution of Bizonal, Bicommunal Federation, by DIKO who supports a BBF solution with the “correct content”, but also by figures of the hardest rejectionist spectrum.
One truly wonders how a politician who does not have a clear position on the solution of the Cyprus problem is campaigning, Aristos Damianou underlined.
