Message of the Communist Party of Malta to the 23rd Congress:

«To the Leadership and Cadres of AKEL
On the Occasion of the 23rd Congress.

The Communist Party of Malta sends greetings to the leadership and the cadres of AKEL on the occasion of the 23rd Congress that will be held 0n the 2nd to the 4th of July 2021.
AKEL through its 95-year History of struggle has contributed much for the cause of the Working people of Cyprus and it has been the mainstay in the liberation movement of the island.
The Communist Party of Malta augers the deliberations during the days of the 23rd Congress will give a new impetus towards the solving of the problems that the workers of Cyprus face today, especially those brought about by the Covid-19 epidemic. Also, towards the solving the problem of re-unification between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot Communities and liberating the Island once more, now from Turkish occupation of North Cyprus.
