Environment and Culture Festival will be held to support the areas affected by the July fires

The Central Committee of AKEL, in cooperation with the Environmental Movement of Cyprus, is organising an Environment and Culture Festival in support of the areas affected by the fires of last July.
The “Fillosia” Festival will take place on Saturday, 18 September 2021, at 6pm, at the Ayioi Vavatsinias Primary School with the backing of the local communities of the area.
The Festival will also include a musical tribute to the renowned progressive Cypriot composer Manos Loizou, who comes from the local community of Ayioi Vavatsinias, under the artistic direction of Vassilis Victoros.
A people’s market with the produce of local farmers, a children’s corner and other stands will operate at the Festival.
The Festival will be addressed by the General Secretary of the C.C. of AKE, Stefanos Stefanou.
Entrance for the public will be free of charge.
