Condolences to Palestinian Member of Parliament Khalida Jarrar

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Suha Jarrar, daughter of Palestinian Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council Khalida Jarrar.
A prominent activist, leading figure of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), defending human rights and prisoner’s rights, Khalida Jarrar is still being illegally detained in Israeli prisons under the regime of Administrative Detention.
We express our sincere condolences to Khalida Jarrar and her family and expect the self-evident: to be able to bid farewell to her daughter.
At the same time, we call on the occupying State of Israel to release Khalida Jarrar, as well as all other members of the Palestinian Legislative Council who are being illegally detained in Israeli prisons, in violation of international law, without any charge being filed against them and without trial, in inhumane conditions.
