As if DISY and DIKO pandering to the banks isn’t enough; they are now officially pandering to the far right as well

DISY issued a reply to AKEL, but did not provide an answer: does it reject any possibility of forging cooperation with far-right ELAM for the post of Speaker of the House of Representatives, or will it repeat the notorious compromise of 2021? DISY President Anita Demetriou, who in her interview with “Kathimerini” wistfully wonders whether ELAM will have discussions with them—what exactly does she want? Just three months ago, DISY had discovered that ELAM is a neo-Nazi entity. One wonders, has she forgotten that again and now wants to discuss with them? As for the DIKO leadership, which has not taken a position on the issue, it is evidently shielded by DISY’s statements.

The situation is clear: After years of backroom deals that normalized and rewarded far-right ELAM, the DISY-DIKO plan for the next step has now been revealed. To secure power, they are paving the way for official cooperation with far-right ELAM. as if DISY-DIKO worshipping the banks and big business isn’t enough, they are now officially pandering to the far right and Nazism as well.

May 24 is the critical moment. The Left is the force that stood firm from the very beginning and continues to stand resolutely against the far-right’s hatred, which is poisoning society.

Voting for AKEL-Left-Social Alliance is the only choice that blocks their path and thwarts their dangerous plan for the country.
