AKEL participation in the 17th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties

An AKEL Delegation consisting of Vera Polycarpou, member of the C.C. of AKEL and Head of the International Relations Department of the C.C. of AKEL and Elias Demetriou, member of the International Relations Department of the C.C. of AKEL departed today to participate in the 17th International Meeting of Communist and Workers Parties to be held on 30th October to 1st November in Istanbul Turkey.

The International Meeting, hosted by the Communist Party (Turkey), is taking place under the title “The work of the Communist and Workers’ Parties to strengthen the struggle of the working class against capitalist exploitation, imperialist wars and fascism, to empower the workers and peoples, for socialism.” Dozens of parties from all over the world are due to participate in the International Meeting.
