AKEL participates in the anti-nuclear event

AKEL participates for yet another year in the event organised by the Anti-Nuclear Platform, which will take place today at 16:30 pm outside the House of Cooperation, Ledra Palace. We call on all to join our voices against the construction of nuclear power plants and for the need to phase out existing ones.

Nuclear power has proven how dangerous it can be. We are reminded of its tragic consequences every day by the victims of Chernobyl and Fukushima, whose memory we will commemorate today.
