AKEL on the government reshuffle

It is obvious that the reshuffle was not aimed at strengthening the government’s effectiveness and work. Mr. Christodoulides’ goal was to serve the pre-election needs of some of the coalition parties, always with his eyes and attention on the 2028 Presidential elections. What is certain is that this recipe will continue the monumental inefficiency and incompetence of the Christodoulides government, which disappoints and angers Cypriot society.

AKEL, as the country’s opposition force, will continue to be the robust and serious force that not only offers well-documented criticism of the Christodoulides administration, but also proposes and asserts realistic and progressive solutions to the major problems which our country and people are facing.
