AKEL ON FUNDING OF ELAM BY GOLDEN DAWN PARTY

In a video circulating on the internet, the “Golden Dawn” party Members of Parliament Katsidiaris and Matheopoulos openly admit that not only is “Golden Dawn” the mother organisation of ELAM in Cyprus (Note: ELAM is the National Popular Front founded in 2008, a nationalist, anti-communist and ultra-right movement), but that they are also using part of the state funding provided by the Greek state to fund ELAM, paying the rent for two of the three offices it maintains in Cyprus.

 

Given that the “Golden Dawn” party is being investigated by Greek justice as a criminal organization, we consider that a serious issue arises as a result of this public admission of the “Golden Dawn” MP´s that in reality ELAM is nothing more than a funded and hence controlled branch of the “Golden Dawn” party in Cyprus.
