AKEL on DISY’s Bill on “Enosis Day” issue

AKEL will study the Bill DISY submitted on the responsibility for setting anniversaries in schools and will state its position, as always, in a serious manner. Unfortunately, in this issue too, confrontations and mutual accusations began that will ultimately divert us from the core issue, which is to overcome the crisis in the negotiations – an immediate issue and pressing need.
At present we would like to point out a contradiction.
The Bill is being presented by leading officials of DISY as the way out of the crisis that arose as a result of the decision of the House of Representatives on the Enosis referendum. On the other hand, DISY states that the Bill has nothing to do with this decision.
Both of the arguments together contradict themselves.
