The DISY government defends with consistency the interests of the banks to the detriment of society

Anger is provoked when the DISY government was for so long doing everything to serve the banks but today, a year before the presidential elections, it has remembered the erroneous practices of the banks.

The government was facilitating the demands of the banks while they were proceeding with foreclosures, unilaterally increasing bank charges and continuing with illegal and unfair practices.

Unfortunately for society, neither have primary homes and small commercial premises been protected, nor has an ESTIA 2 special government scheme for vulnerable borrowers been set up, nor a mechanism to remove the illegal bank charges and unfair clauses in loans. Furthermore, neither have these commitments undertaken by the government been implemented.

But they remain consistent to one thing. That is to say, for the DISY Government, the interests of the banks come before the interests of the society.
