On the occasion of the commencement of the Feast of Bayram, AKEL expresses warm wishes for love, peace and progress towards all our Turkish Cypriot compatriots and those Muslims residing in Cyprus.

We hope that Cyprus will once again become a place where all the lawful inhabitants of the island, Christians and Muslims, in fraternity will be peacefully celebrating their religious feasts. We hope that the next Feast of Bayram will find us all in a free, reunited and federal Cyprus in which the Cypriot people will be the true master in its country, liberated from foreign armies and foreign dependencies.
