The mudslinging against AKEL has began

AKEL is still in the process of discussing the choices it will take with regards Presidential Election. Taking into account all the talk about the names of candidacies in the mass media and internet, various circles, evidently concerned about the choices that AKEL will make, have begun waging the familiar war of mudslinging and defamation.
What we want to assure the people of AKEL, but also society in general, is that AKEL, when it will take its decisions, will give replies to everyone and on everything.
Until then, we call on the people of AKEL, but also society in general, to close their ears to the mudslinging and defamation, because such unacceptable methods only plunge the country’s political life to very low standards, and we don’t want to follow them in this downward spiral that some circles and forces want to drive us into.
