The government of the Democratic Rally DISY and Democratic Party DHKO are continuing to march in line with an unjust and levelling philosophy targeting the vulnerable groups of the population.

The Anastasiades government is now targeting the social pension, with the government and ruling forces unilaterally and arrogantly deciding -without it even being an obligation emanating from the Memorandum – the creation of faits accomplis to the detriment of 3,000 social pension recipients, who they obviously consider to be millionaires.

Once more, we call on the government to stop acting at last as more devout advocates of the Troika than the Troika itself, by demonstrating all its sensitivity in the protection and serving of big private interests. On the contrary, we call on them to show a minimal notion of sensitivity towards the vulnerable groups of the population, but also towards working people, small and middle businesses and society in general who are all suffering severely from the banking crisis and the Memorandum vicious circle of recession.
