The General Secretary of the South African Communist Party and Minister of Higher Education and Training visits Cyprus

The General Secretary of the C.C. of South African Communist Party and Minister of Higher Education and Training of the country Blade Nzimande arrives in Cyprus today at the invitation of AKEL. Dr. Nzimande will be one of the keynote speakers at the International Symposium “The Left in the 21st Century” organized by AKEL and the “Prometheus” Research Institute on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution to be held on 22-23rd September.
The General Secretary of the C.C. of South African Communist Party and Minister will have meetings with the General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL and numerous Party cadres, as well as with the President of the House of Representatives Mr. Dimitris Syllouris, the Cypriot Minister of Education Mr. Kostas Kadis, with the University of Cyprus and the Technological University of Cyprus.
