Meeting of the G.S. of the C.C. AKEL with the Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Venezuela

 

The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou had a meeting with the Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Cyprus, Jeanpierre Anaya Salas regarding the developments in the country.

It is obvious now that the different groups leading the demonstrations are supported financially by the American interests and aim at the overthrow of the legally elected government of Venezuela.

The efforts to destabitalize the country with provocations and sabotage aim at hitching the country at the imperialist interests abolishing the will and the choices of the sovereign people of Venezuela.

AKEL condemns the foreign interventions in Venezuela and stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela, fully supporting its right to decide itself the model of governance and the socioeconomic system of the country.
