DISY undermining of Greek people’s struggle exposed

In his argument undermining the Greek people’s assertion the day before yesterday, the President of the governing DISY Rally party Averof Neophytou added a new aspect, that of the supposed protection of the interests of the Republic of Cyprus. The President of the Rally party also repeated the attempt to change the meaning of assertion into a synonym of populism.

It is true that the Greek people’s verdict in favour of abandoning the blind obedience and submission towards Greece’s loaners poses a serious problem to all those circles and forces that have chosen to follow this submissive stand and behaviour.

We therefore understand the serious difficulty of Mr. Averof Neophytou and his party to support the just and logical demands of the Greek people.

However, we do not understand and we do not accept the on-going undermining of the Greek people’s attempts to free itself of the suffocating straightjacket of the vicious cycle of austerity and untenable debt.
