DIKO leadership ought to be aware that people’s memory is not as short as it evidently believes
Statement by Stefanos Stefanou, AKEL C.C. Spokesperson

The DIKO leadership’s attempt to blame others of Memoranda and neoliberal approaches is earnest.
But the leadership of DIKO ought to be aware that people’s memory is not as short as it evidently believes. People remember DIKO President Mr. Nicholas Papadopoulos, hand in hand with ruling DISY President Mr. Averof Neophytou, promoting and imposing the neoliberal policies that have caused the major problems of income inequality, underemployment, the dismantling of the welfare state and curbing of labour rights, which today the leader of DIKO is claiming he wants to change as he is a candidate for the Presidential post.
This attempt by the DIKO leadership contradicts people’s memory.
