AKEL on the death of Archbishop Chrysostomos II

AKEL expresses its sincere condolences to the family of the Archbishop of Nea Justiniana and Primate of the Church of Cyprus, who passed away today after a long battle with cancer. AKEL also expresses its condolences to the hierarchy and all the people of the Church of Cyprus. The Archbishop, in his 16 years of leadership of the Church of Cyprus, left a clear mark on the ecclesiastical and public affairs of the country, which as of today is handed over to the judgment of history.
