AKEL expresses its wishes on the occasion of the Celebration of Bayram

On the occasion of the celebration of Bayram, AKEL addresses its warm wishes for love, peace and progress to all our Turkish Cypriot compatriots and those Muslims residing in Cyprus.

We hope that Cyprus will once again become a place where all the lawful inhabitants of the island, Christians and Muslims, will be celebrating peacefully their religious feasts. We hope that the next Feast of Bayram will find us all in a free, reunited and federal Cyprus in which the Cypriot people will be the real master in its country, free from any foreign armies and foreign dependencies.
