AKEL Delegation visit to Portugal on official invitation of the Portuguese Communist Party

The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou will today depart for Lisbon within the framework of an official visit during which he will hold numerous political contacts. The visit is taking place on the occasion of an official invitation addressed by the Portuguese Communist Party. The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL is accompanied by Costas Christodoulides, member of the C.C. of AKEL.
The political contacts will take place tomorrow Thursday 25th June. The programme includes the following meetings:
- General Secretary of the C.C. of the Portuguese Communist Party Jerónimo de Sousa
- Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party
- Parliamentary Group of CDS – People’s Party
- Parliamentary Group of the Ecologist Party “The Greens”
- Parliamentary Group of Left Bloc
The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL will return to Cyprus on Saturday.
