AKEL contributes 20,000 Euros to the University of Cyprus Research Centre

AKEL, backing the efforts that are underway first and foremost so that we have a better understanding of what coronavirus is, but also what similar diseases are, as well as the research into ways of tackling these type of diseases, has decided to support the research centre of the University of Cyprus with the amount of 20,000 Euros.

This amount comes from the contribution that AKEL MP’s, members of the Political Bureau and AKEL’s full-time militants will make. We believe that by doing so, we are contributing towards confronting similar diseases in the future and sending out a positive message to society.
