An AKEL delegation to visit the fire-stricken communities

A big AKEL delegation, headed by Aristos Damianou, a member of the Secretariat and Political Bureau of AKEL and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Internal Affairs Committee, Aristos Damianou, will visit the fire-stricken communities of Agia Anna, Psevda and neighbouring villages on Thursday 30 July 26.

The AKEL delegation will include MP’s and Party militants from the AKEL Larnaca District Committee, who will meet with local community authorities and residents of the affected areas, with the aim of identifying the problems, gathering information on existing needs and expressing AKEL’s practical support.

Programme:

• 09:00 – Tour of the areas affected by the recent fires
• 10:15 – Gathering at the People’s Organisations Club in Psevda
